Sawyer is long and lean. 29 3/4 inches long and 18 lb 1 oz. Longer and lighter than Finn at this age.

Did you miss Sawyer's Baptism?

We hosted just the immediate family for Sawyer's baptism on June 6th, though many friends and neighbors also got to witness the event as it was done during a regular mass. If you didn't get to see it, here are the high points summed up in less than 30 seconds.

Jason will ask me to remind you that Sawyer is wearing the family baptismal gown (NOT A DRESS!). As I buckled Sawyer into his car seat that June Sunday morning (not easy to do with the lace and the ribbons and gobs of fabric), Finn leaned over and said, "Sawyer is a girl." I then gently reminded that he wore that gown too.
